Jessica Bates
​
Jessica Bates is a graduate of Newcastle University in Folk and Traditional music. Originally from the Black Isle she returned after her degree to perform and teach guitar, voice and piano in Highland. She currently works with several organisations, those being Fèisean nan Gàidheal, Artsplay Highland and leads several community choirs in the area. She is also an experienced performer, with various gigs around Scotland. Her performance and teaching is rooted in her upbringing with Scottish music but her degree has allowed her to incorporate a variety of musical styles to add to her repertoire.
